Note: Once you have selected a drawing tool for use, your selection will stay active until you disable the tool. This feature allows you to draw multiples on your chart without having to re-select the tool each time. To disable a selected tool, simply hit the Esc key on your keyboard or right-click your mouse on a blank area of the chart.
Click the Tools button in the Chart Toolbar, then select a tool from the list:

Many tools, such as fans and arcs, require you to position a control line for the tool. To do this, click on a point in the chart where the object should begin, drag the cursor to where the object should end, then release the mouse button.
You may continue adding multiple tools to the chart. When done, hit the Escape key, or right-click with your mouse on a blank area of the chart to disable the tool.
To move the object on the chart, drag and drop it to a new location.
To release the object, click anywhere else on the chart.
