You can print the windows contained in a workspace. While most printers will adequately handle printing charts, quotes and news, there will be instances where a particular printer may not be able to process the print request. Unfortunately, this is out of our control, and we cannot guarantee that all printers will work with our applications. If you experience problems with printing, we suggest that you try the following:
Are you using a Printer Control Language (PCL) printer or printer driver? Printing Java applets from IE to such a printer may result in the printing of a blank page. Try selecting a different color depth to see if that is preventing the Java applet from printing correctly. (Minimum site requirements are 256 Color). Click Start, Settings, and Control Panel. Double-click Display, and open the Settings tab. Choose a different color depth setting in the Color box, then click OK. Different display color settings may generate different results with printing.
Try printing from another application, such as Word or Excel. Can you print an image embedded in a Word document?
If you trying to print to a network printer, log onto your account from another PC and attempt to print to the same network printer.
Try to lower the DPI setting in your printer preference. DPI settings are typically found in the Printer Properties dialog when you send a page to the printer.
If you are experiencing problems with a color printer, can you print the chart on a black and white printer?
If all else fails, try to detach a window from the workspace, then press (Alt + Print Screen) to copy the window to the clipboard. Open an application such as Paint or Word, and paste the contents of the clipboard (Ctrl + V). Try to print the resulting page using that application's Print command.
